This was the 4th time I have attended this event and they just keep getting better and better. I believe this event was better than last years event. Rating: 4 out of 5 I by D723 on 10/11/11 American Jazz Museum - Kansas City.It was a much needed reminder of the power and strength of community, especially in these crazy times. Thank you for the work that goes into this event every year. My only wish for change would be to offer us vegetarians some choices (maybe Seed could help with that). The people show was almost as entertaining as the stage show with dancing adults and children, fantastic fashion, and smiling faces. It was great to get out of Johnson County and revel in the beautiful diversity this metropolitan area offers. Perfect weather, great music, wonderful people. Rating: 4 out of 5 At peace with the world by WillyWanda on 10/12/11 American Jazz Museum - Kansas City. They were playing in different locations. Did not know where the artist were playing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Event was Sensational by LadyDazz on 10/16/13 American Jazz Museum - Kansas CityĮnjoyed Pieces of a Dream, Maysa & Bobby Llyle.A very nice woman helped to get us into the Blue Room but we were never given any tickets. Had to go a block away and they still did not have the tickets at the place they sent us to. Also we were given the run around to pick up our tickets at will call. Had this show been billed along those lines we would have chosen a different show. This was supposed to be jazz and it was rap poetry We came to the Jazz and Blues Festival to hear jazz music. Our group was very disappointed by Jessica Care Moore.
